Weltlesebühne: Translators pitch their #CanLit titles published in German translation
October 14 - October 18
Due to COVID-19, Canada Guest of Honour events and activities listed on this website may be cancelled or postponed. The event calendar will be updated to the best of our ability, however we recommend that you click on the "For more information" link of the respective event listing for the latest updates.
Literary translators from Canadian English and French present their Canadian book titles in short 3-5-minute video clips, which have been published in German translation. They will not only arouse curiosity about the book but also give a personal insight into their work.
Organized by the Weltlesebühne e.V.
This project is part of the culture program related to Canada’s Guest of Honour presentation at the Frankfurt Book Fair. It is supported by the Government of Canada (Embassy of Canada) and the Quebec Government Office in Berlin
